Technologic Education in the Educational Sector of Mercosur – ESM
In the Technologic Education the efforts are directed to attends the challenges proposed by scientific and technologic advances, the productive changes and the need of continuing education with quality for all. In this way it is necessary to generate knowledge, attitudes, values and skill that lead to the professionalization of the people and that allows to inserting them actively in society and integrating the region.
Thematic Blocks
Were established the following thematic blocks:
- The technical and professional education and the transformation of scenarios of the productive sector;
- The space of education in technical and professional education;
- The opportunities for professional training throughout life;
- The new role of teachers in technical and professional education;
Goals
Were fixed the following goals, considering the definition of projects to be executed for this area:
- To adapt the professional profile in 6 areas, between the years 2001 to 2005;
- To have teachers with appropriate profile who are technically and pedagogically updated;
- To have innovative experiences of training, qualification, and professionalism in the area of adult training focused on employability, as the demand of each country, between the years 2001 to 2005
- To have processes for dissemination of successful experiences that connecting the schools to the productive sector
- To have indicators of quality that considering the appropriate profiles, the technology updates, linked with the productive sector, the mobility of the workforce and the admission of graduates in the world of work;
To have learning materials, information and experience, produced and shared between the years 2001 to 2005.
